Terms of service
These are the terms for bookings made with Double Bubbles Cleaning Company. They are plain-English guidelines rather than strict legalese - if anything is unclear, give us a ring.
1. Quotes and bookings
Quotes are based on the information you give us (property size, condition, service). If we arrive and the job is significantly different from the quote, we’ll chat with you before starting and agree any revised price.
2. Deposits
For confirmed bookings, we may ask for a deposit via Stripe. This secures your slot and is deducted from the final total. Deposits are refundable if you cancel at least 48 hours before the booking. Within 48 hours, we retain the deposit to cover the slot.
3. Payment
The balance is due on completion of the clean. We accept cash, card (in person) or bank transfer.
4. Cancellations and rescheduling
Life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know as soon as you can. Inside 24 hours we may need to charge a small call-out fee.
5. Access and safety
You are responsible for giving us safe access to the property. If we can’t get in on the day despite having arranged access, a call-out fee applies.
6. Breakages
We take care with every home, but if we ever break something we’ll tell you straight away and sort it out. Please let us know in advance about anything fragile or valuable.
7. Complaints
If anything isn’t right, tell us within 24 hours of the clean and we’ll come back to put it right at no charge.
8. Gift vouchers
Vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase. They can be redeemed against any of our services but are not exchangeable for cash.
